Chasing the Sun ☀️
Chasing the Sun was created during a hard season of my life.
There were moments where I felt lost, hurt, emotionally exhausted, and unsure of who I even was anymore. Life did not look the way I imagined it would. I was carrying heartbreak, disappointment, anxiety, and the weight of trying to stay strong while quietly falling apart inside. Some nights felt endless. Some mornings were hard to get through. And truthfully, there were times I struggled to see any light at all.
But somewhere in the middle of all that pain, I realized healing does not happen overnight. It happens slowly. Quietly. In little moments. In choosing to keep going even when your heart feels heavy. In learning how to find beauty again after darkness.
That is where Chasing the Sun was born.
To me, “Chasing the Sun” means choosing hope even during difficult seasons. It means believing brighter days still exist, even when life feels overwhelming. It is about finding warmth, joy, peace, and beauty in the middle of pain. Sometimes healing looks like survival. Sometimes it looks like creating, dreaming again, laughing again, or simply making it through another day.
Every journey is different. Some people are healing from heartbreak. Some are grieving. Some are battling anxiety, depression, loneliness, betrayal, or the pressure of becoming someone new while mourning who they used to be. No matter what your story looks like, I hope this space reminds you that you are not alone.
The ocean has always reminded me so much of life. Storms come and go. Waves crash hard. Tides pull us under sometimes. But eventually, the sun rises again.
Romans 12:12 became one of the verses I held onto during difficult moments:
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
And Romans 8:18 reminded me that pain is not the end of the story:
“The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.”
This brand is deeply personal to me. Every piece I create carries a little bit of healing, softness, hope, and aloha with it. My goal is not just to make pretty things — it is to create pieces that feel warm, comforting, meaningful, and full of light for the people who wear them.
If you are in a hard season right now, I hope you keep going.
I hope you keep healing.
I hope you keep believing in brighter days.
Through dark nights, there are always brighter mornings.
You just have to keep chasing the sun ☀️🌊
Sincerely,
Kris
